My name is Heike Gutwein and I am
the sole instructor at Heike's swim School. I have been swimming
competitively for over eight years on summer, winter, and high school
teams. I just received my Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and Swim
Instructor certifications from the American Red Cross and St. Joseph's
College. I am fifteen years old and a freshman in high
school. My other interests besides swimming are running, tennis,
photography, reading, fashion, academics, guitar, and piano. I am
in yearbook, Student Council, Sunshine Society, Community Service Club,
4-H, and many other activities. As far as swimming goes, I have
competed in the semi-state swim meets for five years and qualified for
the state meets for just as long. I won Conference for High
School in the 100 breaststroke, my speciality.
